***Again, we are not a full-service cake shop! We are always happy to recommend other local businesses to satisfy your tiered, large, specialty, or fondant-enrobed requests. The skills of those good folks are worth the extra money you will pay! Reference our portfolios for a good idea of what you can expect from us. Some things are not yet in our wheelhouse, but we are happy to recommend great local cake artists when you have a project beyond our skill set or material choices! The time we can spend on your cake also depends on the budget you give us. For custom work, if you send us a photo similar to what you're looking for, we can get you an accurate quote. ALL photos we accept are meant to be guides. If your expectation is an exact and perfect reproduction, we kindly request that you seek the services of those specialty cake shops that will special order exactly what you're looking for and charge you accordingly! We will use the materials and tools we already have in the shop (unless you provide us with something specific to be used for your order, that's perfectly OK!)--so be sure to ask to see what we have if you're looking for a specific liner or sprinkle! We count on you to tell us exactly what your expectations are and what is important to you, so we can guide you accordingly, even if it's toward another business. Please don't assume we know what you want--we have served over a thousand weddings now and you are all so wonderfully different! For instance, we don't even offer metallics, if that is your need, because those sprinkles are considered non-edible and I'm a doctor first, I just can't bring myself to serve anything like that to you. :) Glitter is also a common request--be sure to ask to see what we offer because what you typically see online in photos is actual glitter! Edible glitter is simply not as pronounced. We want you to be happy with your result. It's important to note that we price wedding cupcakes and cakes significantly lower than many other specialty shops, and that's because while we do great work, it's our work, as I've stated here. If you are looking for exact reproductions or large tiered wedding cakes, it's important to go to one of these specialty cake shops and pay more for what you're looking for. We have a mobile business we manage as well, so our niche is just not spending days on a single project. We cupcake for the masses! But we are happy to provide a budget-friendly option for those more concerned with celebrating with something fun and delicious! Perfection takes time, and the higher prices other local businesses are quoting you for that are fair. :) We do hope to serve for you!
